JR and Tazz welcome us to one of the biggest RAW's on the road to Wrestlemania, they confirm that The Undertaker is in the building! The two hype the Double Main Event including Kane vs. Sting in a Last Man Standing match and Randy Orton defending the world title against Christian.
"I know what everyone is thinking...that after tonight, Christian will be the World Heavyweight Champion...and then Christian will capture the WWE championship, and do what Randy Orton can't do...and become the Undisputed WWE Champion!" Christian says while standing on the stage.
"I understand that he has a match against Triple H at Wrestlemania, but if I take Orton out of that match, that places me in two world title main event matches at the 25th anniversary of Wrestlemania!" Christian says, getting a pop from the crowd.
"I know I wouldn't mind that, but there are a few people backstage who think that I shouldn't be get-" Christian says but then Randy Orton attacks him from behind. Orton hits a few kicks onto Christian before setting up for the Punt Kick.
Christian realizes whats going on, but thats the last thing he remembers when Orton punts Christian right in the skull. Orton finally picks up his World Heavyweight championship and places it back on his shoulder before he picks up a microphone.
"Christian...I don't think you should have any thoughts of wrestling tonight...next week...or at Wrestlemania." Orton says and drops the microphone onto Christian's chest before heading backstage. Orton takes one last look at Christian with a smirk on his face.
Edge vs. Shelton Benjamin
Shelton Benjamin comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Benjamin jumps onto the ring apron. The announcers confirm that Charlie Haas is sick at home, or he would be at ringside with his tag team partner in a Wrestlemania changing match.
Edge comes out to a loud pop from the crowd. Maryse is at Edge's side, which causes some slight heat, but the pop is louder then that. Edge slides into the ring and points at the Wrestlemania sign, before wrapping his arms around Maryse in a humping motion. Maryse blushes and gets out of the ring.
The bell rings with Edge going for a quick offense. JR thinks that Edge is pumped up after the elimination chamber and the week off and is ready to get some action in. Tazz reminds everyone that Edge is on a 2 month losing streak. Edge places Benjamin in a headlock before throwing him into the turnbuckle.
Edge charges and connects with Benjamin on the turnbuckle. Edge then rolls up Benjamin for a two count. Benjamin rocovers first and kicks Edge in the head and going for a cover of his own, Benjamin gets a one count.
Benjamin places Edge in a crossface submission, but Edge quickly grabs at the ropes to escape. Edge hits a surprising spear onto Benjamin and gets a loud pop from the crowd. Edge goes for the cover, but Benjamin gets his foot on the ropes.
Edge sets up for another spear, but Benjamin turns the move into a swinging DDT, making the crowd scream 'OH!" as Benjamin goes for the cover, he gets a two count. Benjamin for the Pay Dirt.
Edge pushes Benjamin off and hits a second spear onto the former United States champion. Edge goes for the cover, and gets another two count. Edge is getting annoyed and sets up for the third and hopefully final spear. Edge charges right into Pay Dirt.
Shelton doesn't go for the cover for about another minute, and Edge kicks out right before the three. The crowd is really behind the opening match. Edge hits a suplex and turns it into a bridge pin for another two count.
Benjamin pushes Edge towards the ropes where Maryse is. Edge knocks down Maryse from arguing with the ref. Edge looks at his girl friend in shock. Edge turns around right into a Pay Dirt attempt, but Edge hits a spear, he goes for the cover, and gets the THREE COUNT?!
Edge screams out in victory as he ends his losing streak and is now going to Wrestlemania. Edge points up at the briefcase hanging above the ring. Maryse comes in and quickly forgives Edge.
JR and Tazz say that they have a blockbuster Wrestlemania Diva's announcement to make after the diva's match between Trish Stratus and Katie Lea Burchill, which is up next. Also, the Highlight Reel will return tonight with the special guest being a mystery!
Trish Stratus vs. Katie Lea Burchill
Katie Lea comes out to slight heat from the crowd, but besides that she gets almost no reaction. Kelly Kelly will be facing off against Katie Lea live on ECW tomorrow night as a special treat from RAW!
Trish Stratus comes out to a loud pop from the crowd. Stratus runs right into the ring. Trish poses in a sexy position to get an even louder pop. Trish blows kisses at the crowd before she starts to focus on Katie Lea.
Trish quickly hits a combo of moves before ending the combo with a clothesline. Katie Lea jumps up right into a Chick Kick! Trish goes for the cover and gets the three count! Trish wins in under one minute! Maryse runs down to the ring and starts to brawl with Trish.
Trish hits another chick kick onto Maryse before grabbing a microphone. Stratus picks up the women's title, and the crowd pops loudly.
"I've already made history with my reigns as women's champion...and I don't think one more title reign would hurt...so at Wrestlemania...i'm officially challenging Maryse for the Women's Championship, do you accept Maryse?" Trish asks and hands the microphone to the recovering women's champion.
"I gladly accept your challenge." Maryse says and then smacks Trish before her and Katie Lea jump the number one contender. Kelly Kelly and Eve come out to make the save, making the heels quickly leave the ring. Kelly and Eve hold Trish's hands up.
Kelly then punches Eve and Trish in the jaws. Kelly stands over both of them before getting out of the ring and having her hands held up by Maryse and Katie Lea.
Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel, Special Guest: Unknown
Chris Jericho comes out to major heat from the crowd. A recap video shows Jericho qualifying for Wrestlemania's Money in the Bank match last week. A graphic then shows revealing the four men who are in the match. Jericho gets in the ring and sits down on a stool.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, it has been quite some time since I've hosted the Highlight Reel, the last one was in January, and I think this one is going to be another special edition of the reel...last week, anyway who was watching RAW last week, heard JR's comments on me last week." Jericho says, and draws some heat.
"Don't worry JR, you are not my special guest tonight, because I know no one in this arena wants to hear you attempt to tell me off, JR, I do have one thing to say to you though...hang up the cowboy hat and retire you old fool!" Jericho says, and draws major heat from the crowd. JR and Tazz both stand up.
"Now, now men...One of you will be my guest tonight, and since it isn't you JR, it is your former ECW champion broadcast partner, Tazz! Come on up to the highlight reel Tazz, make your way back into the limelight!" Jericho yells. Tazz nods at JR before getting in the ring. Tazz grabs a microphone.
"Chris, I didn't think you of all people would take JR's little comment seriously, he wasn't being serious after all...Jericho you've been changed by something or someone, and we all want the old Jericho back." Tazz says.
"You want the old Jericho back? Boo-fucking-hoo, Tazz. I am still the Savior of the WWE, and you are still just a little announcer in the WWE, Tazz, come on, I dare you to face me in a match, at the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania...I will leave Money in the Bank, making it eight men, and then I will obliterate you." Jericho says.
"No, I'm retired, Jericho and you should know that more then anyone else, after all, a pussy like you should-" Tazz starts but is punched and kicked by Jericho. Jericho hits the codebreaker and then places Tazz in the Walls of Jericho.
Tazz starts tapping out, Jericho turns his head to a big boot right from JR! The crowd pops louder then ever as JR helps up Tazz as Jericho stands right outside the ring, yelling at both the announcers. Medical Staff run past Jericho to help out Tazz before RAW cuts to commercial.
WWE Champion Jeff Hardy vs. United States Champion Tomko
Tomko comes out to a pop from the crowd. Joey Styles and Matt Striker are filling in as announcers. It is confirmed that Tomko will defend his title against three men in a fatal four way, but two of the men have yet to be announced.
Jeff Hardy comes out to a very loud pop from the crowd. The pyro goes off like normal, Striker and Styles talk about the Triple Threat match at Wrestlemania. Striker says Christian is his favorite to win, Styles thinks Jeff will retain his title at the biggest event of the year.
The bell rings and the two champions shake hands. Hardy and Tomko lock up to start the match, Tomko gains the upper hand with his strength and places Hardy in a strong headlock. Hardy elbows his way out and goes for a Twist of Fate quickly.
Tomko pushes out and hits a spinebuster onto the champion and goes for the cover, Tomko gets a two count. Tomko pulls up Hardy and irish whips into the turnbuckle. Jeff hits it with extreme impact.
Tomko goes for a running clothesline into the corner and connects. Hardy falls over and Tomko goes for the cover, he gets another two count. Tomko pulls up Hardy, who suddenly starts to fight back and hits a Side Effect onto Tomko. Hardy goes for the cover, and gets a two count.
Hardy jumps up onto the turnbuckle and hits a jumping double drop kick and goes for another cover, he gets another two count. Jeff stalks Tomko for the Twist of Fate. Tomko reverses another kick into a DDT. The crowd is split in half on who they want to win.
Tomko poses to the crowd, but then Matt Hardy appears at ringside. Tomko punches Matt in the jaw. Jeff rolls up Tomko for the three count. Jeff doesn't realize Matt was out at ringside until Tomko lets him know.
Jeff jumps over the ropes and takes down Matt one more time before the two brothers start to brawl. Security rushes out to break the two up. Styles says Matt's continuing interference with Jeff's matches may result in an extreme consequence, as he has been notified that Jeff has accepted the match to face off against CM Punk on ECW! He also says the Diva's match has been changed to Eve vs. Kelly Kelly on ECW tomorrow night!
Backstage: Edge and Ric Flair
"Ric, you saw it, everyone saw it, my losing streak is OVER! I can get back everything I lost, right?" Edge asks and he places his hands on Flair's shoulders. Flair gently pushes Edge back a little. "I don't like that look on your face." Edge says.
"One win won't get everything back Edge, if you win at Wrestlemania, then you should be able to get your theme and entrance back...and then you'll have a free world title shot as well." Flair says and then Edge walks out of the office.
Backstage: Randy Orton Interview
"Randy, to start off the show, you punted Christian in the head, taking him out of action for two to three weeks. Does this mean you are out of the main event tonight?" Todd Grisham asks.
"No, I'm still planning on defending my World Heavyweight Championship against anyone in the WWE, except for Triple H or The Rock, they will be getting their title shots eventually. I will face anyone on the RAW, ECW, or Smackdown rosters, and I will show you all that I am the greatest champion in WWE World Heavyweight history!" Orton says.
Randy Orton (c) vs. Unknown Opponent
CM Punk comes out to a large pop from the crowd. It is announced that CM Punk is challenging for the World Heavyweight Championship. Punk poses on the top rope for belt motions. The Money in the Bank roster is shown.
Randy Orton draws out more heat then usual. Orton slowly makes his way down to the ring. Orton glares at Punk and holds the title above his head before he walks up the steps to get in the ring. Orton hands off the belt he had just gotten back earlier in the night.
The bell rings and CM Punk charges and hits a clothesline onto Randy Orton. Punk places Orton in a crossface submission. Punk lets him go and hits a drop kick, Orton seems to be stunned, but when Punk runs at the turnbuckle, Orton kicks him right in the face.
Orton hits a clothesline of his own before stalking for the RKO. Punk recovers quickly and turns the RKO into a GTS attempt. Orton jumps off and hits a backbreaker onto the challenger. Punk almost yelps before Orton goes for the cover, he gets the two count.
Orton stalks for the RKO once more, but once again Punk places him on his shoulders for the GTS. This time, Punk connects, the crowd pops loudly as Punk goes for the cover, the crowd suddenly pops even louder as Triple H appears at ringside and pulls the ref out of the ring.
Triple H slides in the ring and shoves CM Punk into a turnbuckle. Triple H places Orton in the position for the Pedigree as the bell rings for a DQ. Orton escapes from the Pedigree only to dodge a drop kick from Punk, which hits the Game.
Triple H jumps and swings around to face CM Punk, who looks scared and flees from the ring. Triple H picks up the World title and holds it up in the air. The World Heavyweight title has been stolen again! Orton throws a tantrum on the ramp as the sceen fades to black.
Backstage Segment: Sting
"Kane...I said I would face you in a match, but I meant a singles match, no other stipulations added, I hate to dissapoint, but if you want me in a Last Man Standing, you'll have to wait, Kane...i'm coming for you...right...now." Sting says and pushes the camera man away to head towards the ring.
Sting vs. Kane; Winner earns the right to face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania
Sting comes out to the loudest pop of the night. Sting has his black bat in his hands. Sting slides into the ring and WOO's out to the crowd, which gives him a great response. Sting holds the black bat up in the air and then points it at the Wrestlemania sign.
Kane comes out to heat from the crowd. Kane pulls himself up into the ring and then glares at Sting, who doesn't move an inch. Kane points at the Wrestlemania sign, and then does the cut throat sign. The bell rings to start the match.
Sting and Kane circle around each other. Sting and Kane try to lock up, but Sting slides under Kane's arms and tries to hit a DDT onto Kane, but Kane twists around and places Sting on his shoulders and hits a powerslam.
Kane goes for the cover and gets a one count. Sting gets up almost Undertaker style, which pisses off Kane even more. Kane tries to grab Sting by the throat for the chokeslam. Sting kicks his way out and hits a clothesline onto Kane.
Sting tries to go for the sharpshooter, but Kane easily pushes Sting off, Sting catches himself on the ropes, and Kane runs at Sting to knock him out of the ring, Sting ducks and locks in Kane for a DDT and connects.
Sting goes for the cover, and gets another two count. Sting pulls up Kane to go for the Scorpian Death Drop, but Kane reverses for a Tomb Stone. The crowd gives him major heat, but Sting reverses into a roll-up for another two count, the crowd pops slightly.
Sting goes for another Scorpian Death Drop, and it barely connects, the crowd pops as Sting hooks the leg for the pin, Sting gets the three count, and the crowd goes nuts. Sting will face off against The Undertaker for the first time ever at Wrestlemania!
The crowd slowly becomes silent as The Undertaker walks out onto the stage and doesn't go down the ramp. Sting and The Undertaker lock eyes. Undertaker raises his hands and lightning strikes the stage, there is a large flash and Taker is gone, but his music is still playing and the lights are still dimmed.
The final shot of RAW shows Sting looking dead at the Wrestlemania 25 sign, the sign then flashes for a moment before going out, and RAW fades to black with the crowd poping loudly to end the show.
